Simplified experience
All existing Miles will automatically transfer over to one simplified points balance. Giving you the freedom to redeem the way you want. Experience the same value, but with a new equation to remember: 1,500 points = $101 when you redeem in-store or on e-gift cards. Your Miles are safe: your balance will carry over automatically, and you won’t lose any value.
Modernized travel experience
Travel2 will soon be booked through an expanded relationship with Expedia Group, giving you access to a broader range of travel options. Plus, you’ll be able to use Blue Points to cover some or the entire cost2 of your travel, no longer needing a minimum balance threshold to redeem towards your bookings 2.
More exclusive benefits for BMO credit cardholders
Earn more points on everyday purchases with new earn accelerators on fuel and merchant partner purchases. Consumer Blue Rewards credit cards will be the only Retail credit card in Canada to offer accelerated earn on gas, grocery and wholesale3.

If you’re already an active AIR MILES Rewards Program collector, your account will automatically change to Blue Rewards in summer 2026. You can join the AIR MILES Rewards Program today and you’ll automatically become a Blue Rewards member when it launches in summer 2026.
Your AIR MILES balance is safe. You can keep earning and redeeming with your AIR MILES card without interruption. Once Blue Rewards launches, your Miles will automatically convert to Points, with no loss in value.
New Partners: New strategic partners including Porter Airlines, Accor Group, hotel brands such as Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Novotel, and SLS Hotels, Instacart and MTY Group restaurants including Thai Express, Bâton Rouge, Pizza Delight, Allô! mon Coco, Sushi Shop, Mr. Sub, Manchu Wok, Mucho Burrito, Jugo Juice and more will add greater everyday value for collectors. Head to bmo.com/bluerewardscreditcards and join the wait list! You’ll be among the first to get access to the new card.
You can continue to use your current BMO AIR MILES credit card normally. Your physical credit card and credit card number will not change.
If you already have a Canadian-issued Mastercard linked to your AIR MILES account, your card will remain linked. Similarly, all AIR MILES BMO Mastercards will remain auto linked.
If you have a third-party Canadian-issued Mastercard you would like to link now, you can do-so in the app.
If you have a non-AIR MILES BMO Mastercard and wish to link to your account, simply call or visit a BMO branch to do so.
